I wanted to like this documentary. There were many funny quirky moments, but there were several serious ones too as the main detective’s wife struggled with several health problems, and the detectives worked to solve a triple murder case. The filmmaker said his intention was to give you a feel for life in Kolkata, India. However I think it ended up being too much for one documentary, and the conflicting tones make it difficult to get a clear message. (3 out of 5)
